PREVIOUSLY...
Following a nuclear
holocaust in the year 2019 America changed. first came the 10-year "Nuclear
Winter." In the year 2069 (forty years after the "Big
Freeze" with no real government, several small totalitarian governments
merged together to form a "new" government. This was not much
more than a group of dictatorships. This went well for about another ten years,
but the new rulers did not agree with each other, and bickered about the way the
government was run on a whole. Several of the dictators from the south banded
together and reformed the "Confederacy". The dictators from the north
really had no choice at that point but to band together to bring the
"Union" back to life.
The two groups worked together for another ten years.
The "Confederacy", then declared war on the "Union". Thus
began the second civil war in the United States. Most of the modern technology
has remained. Power, some machines. However weapons are another thing.
Both groups wanted control of the remaining stockpiles of weapons and other
military surplus. Each wanted more than it’s share of those weapons.
This is what started the war. It’s down to just guns now, on occasion there
are some heavy weapons that were found but most of them were used up in the
beginning of the war. Much has been lost. There is talk of a super weapon,
but not much is known as what it may be, or how to acquire it...
CURRENTLY...
At the end of the "WAR" (Civil War 2099), the South
was defeated by "Redlegs" (or so it seemed). He did, in fact, destroy
the Confederate Central Command with a satellite originated particle beam weapon,
but it DID NOT end the war.
General Preacher and his command have gone AWOL (he is very upset at what he views as the "less than honorable" war tactics of "Redlegs", and wants revenge on him and his direct report troops). Preacher has a group of "devout" followers and has formed their own army to take revenge on Redlegs and the North.
Will the Confederacy be looking for General Preacher? Will the Japanese weapons contractor be around? Did the mercenaries survive? Who knows...
Game Schedule and Information (Rain or Shine!):
If you have been to AJ's in the last few years, I encourage you to visit again, now with newly re-organized management, this Paintball Park has undergone some dramatic changes. With a "Safety First" attitude, the staff and referee's are a a very capable group of people. The Scenario Game, Civil War 2100, promises to be a spectacular event!
